Millionfish is a study of herd behaviour, specifically drawing upon theories of evolutionary psychology. Millionfish follows the journey of four women and their search for something more. Together each hides in the anonymity of the group. As individuals there is more.
Fling mist like a dog shakes its coat,
let hair down, pull strands up from throats,
and flick to the floor to block drains.
Plugs to block rain from the shower head.
Make puddles just for one fish.
Follow pipes and there’s millions conditioned
to swim in taut circles
down snakes and up ladders.
